Please note new name: TuTech Innovation GmbH
During the second half of 2004, the re-organisation of the technology transfer in Hamburg was brought to a conclusion with the formation of TuTech Innovation GmbH. TuTech Innovation incorporates TUHH-Technologie GmbH (TuTech), founded by the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg in 1992, c:bs channel business services and the Technologie-Beratungs-Zentrum Hamburg.
Furthermore using TuTech as a model, all Universities in Hamburg have tied up their transfer activities into a single company Hamburg Innovation GmbH.
TuTech Innovation and Hamburg Innovation will combine resources to provide effective, professional services in support of knowledge transfer and cooperation between the business, research and public service communities.
TuTech Innovation GmbH will act as operational centre for Hamburg Innovation GmbH.
In tandem with their scientific co-operation partners, Hamburg Innovation and TuTech Innovation are active in the following fields especially: life sciences, construction, information and communication technologies, systems engineering, medical technologies, applied physics, materials, production engineering, aeronautics, marine engineering, transport and logistics, economic and social sciences, process and energy engineering.
The core business activities of the companies are:
- Mediation of co-operation partners between economy and science
- Management of research and development projects
- Exploitation of research and development results
- Technological consultancy, funding advice, continued professional development
- Consultancy and support for start-up technology-oriented companies.
