Library open 24 hours / 24 hours


In december, the Library of Kortrijk will be modernized with an automatic self-service desk and the use of electronic identity cards as a library pass. Also 50 new computers for free internet use will be installed. After the reopening the 11th of December 2006, users will be able to book all material and search for information on the website of the library.

The investments cost 200.000 euro and are temporary improvements of the functioning of the library in preparation of the new building.
