4 startcentres of social economy responsible for start up of 42 companies

West-Flanders counts 4 regional incubation centres for social economy since 6 years. One of them is Kanaal 127, one of the VISP partners in Kortrijk. They act like a business centre for young companies that employ long term unemployed people. The incubation centre offers infrastructure, and logistic support, but also intensive management support. In these 6 years already 42 businesses have been started up in the Province, which means employment for about 1500 people in home cleaning, call centres, catering, etc... All four centres work together in the promotion and communication of their approach.
