Mölndal visited Kortrijk

Kortrijk has got the honour to welcome a delegation of 18 visitors from the city of Mölndal. From Tuesday 11th  until Friday 14th of October 2005, the 18 social and cultural workers, teachers and politicians had the opportunity to follow different presentations about city planning, culture, social economy, welfare, unemployment and cultural integration and Life Long Learning.
In the mornings people got to know the best practices of Mölndal and of Kortrijk, meeting the involved people from Kortrijk . There was plenty of time for interesting and lively discussions. In the afternoon the delegation visited Buda Island as well as historical Kortrijk, the real working places, ateliers and community centres. On Wednesday evening the group assisted to the Opening of  the design and arts festival Atmosfeer. On Thursday evening a meeting with the Mayor of Kortrijk Mr. Stefaan De Clerck was arranged.
It also happened to be an extraordinary sunny start of Autumn those days, so in the end everyone was very satisfied with the different outcomes of this visit!
