Students of Kortrijk meet French ecoonomy and society

The Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Campus Kortrijk ( KULCK) continues and strengthens its exchanging programmes. This new contract will be signed at the opening ceremony of the new academic year on September 28th 2005.

The transnational university exchanges between Flanders and the North of France will be upgraded as the department of Economy and Management IESEG of the University of Lille (CATHO) will be involved from now on.

Students of Kortrijk will be able to follow courses at this French university. They will also be able to widen their experience working in French companies. Thus, they will build up their knowledge of the French business-language and they will develop empathy for the French  society. IESEG-students will be able to follow courses in Kortrijk as well. Other specialities (e.g. literature and language technology) will be involved in the next few years.

This is an important issue which follows the suggestions of the Bologna reformations.
