Revitalising shopping streets in Kortrijk

The shopping streets near to the river sides of the Leie are attracting new investors again thanks to active trade committees. The revitalisation of this area of the city centre will be reinforced by the opening of the new business centre in the fall of 2006. This business centre is a cooperation between the regional development agency of the Province, GOM and Syntra West, a training centre for SME's. It will offer space and guidance to starting entrepreneurs. But before the opening, the building that is owned by the city, will have to be refurbished.
