Invitation

From Monday 10th to Sunday 16th and during the weekend of 22 and 23 October 2005 three premises in the Budastreet will be taken in by a collective of young artists. They fill in their proper vision of a Free Estate as a physical and as a mental space. In this way they create a laboratory, where they can - far from the regular framework of the official art world- create artistic work. Not only production is what they aim at, but also the process of creating and the thinking about art and its place in society.
The idea of creating a Free Estate is the result of the fact that they are convinced
of the meaning of a physical and a mental space for the artistic experiment as well as for the critical mind.
