Drammen River Festival

Drammen Elvefestival (River Festival) 18 – 20 August.
The annual festival of outdoor concerts, exhibitions and fun for everybody is coming up. The festival tradition started in 1995, celebrating the completion of the river cleansing programme. Since 2001 the festival has been run by a professional entertainment company. The festival board has representatives from trade and industry, "Byen vår Drammen" (Our City Drammen) and the municipality of Drammen. The number of tickets sold in advance to the opening concert outside the Drammen Theatre up to now has already broken all previous records. Top Norwegian rock/pop groups and musicians will entertain, and there will be activities on and by the river for everyone all week end.
