More diversity fosters value creation and innovation

A business conference on More Diversity fosters value creation and innovation is held at Drammen International Cultural Centre, Tuesday, March 21st, 2006

Presentations by: 

  • Head of the Drammen Region Board,  Political secretary from the Department for Labour and Social Inclusion,   Senior researcher from The Work Research Institute,   Senior advisor from the Diversity at Work Foundation,  HR manager from Opera Software, 
  • Director of Directorate of Integration and Diversity,  
  • NHO - Confederation of Norwegian Enterprises,   General manager of Norwegian Centre for Multicultural Value Creation and others.

Norwegian Centre for Multicultural Value Creation is a national pilot project in the Drammen region, with an aim to demonstrate values, entrepreneurial spirit and professionalism and contribution among immigrants in Norway. The centre is expected to be a role model for similar regional centres around in Norway.

Norwegian Centre for Multicultural Value Creation is a co-operation among 27 organisations and relevant parties, representing public and private sector, central government, the regional county, eight municipalities, local businesses, various organisations, immigrants and ethnic Norwegians.

Norwegian Centre for Multicultural Value Creation will support entrepreneurship, value creation and available resources among immigrants. He centre focuses on innovation, new jobs and creating a dynamic business related culture among immigrants.
